If the car cannot be driven

Call before you agree to anything at the scene. A tow arranged in the first ten minutes after a crash often goes wherever the truck normally works, and getting a vehicle released from a storage lot later costs days and storage fees. Tell the driver where the car is going instead — the destination is your choice, exactly like the repair shop is. Storage fees accrue daily, and they come out of the claim before a dollar of it reaches your car.

We will help you arrange the tow to our shop and coordinate the timing so the car is received rather than left in a lot. If your policy includes towing coverage it usually pays for this, and we will tell you what your insurance needs to see. Bring the keys, the claim number if you already have one, and anything you want out of the vehicle.

If the car is drivable

Our hours are the practical part. We are open Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 11 PM, so a drop-off can happen at seven on a Tuesday evening instead of costing you a morning of work. Sundays we open by appointment when that is genuinely the only window you have. Most body shops close before the average commute ends, which is exactly why so many repairs get postponed for weeks by people who cannot get there during the working day.

Plan the drop-off around parts rather than around the calendar. When the estimate is approved and the parts are ordered before your car arrives, the repair starts the day it lands and the days you spend without a vehicle drop. We will tell you when to bring it in for that reason — an early drop-off usually just means your car waits in our lot instead of your driveway.

  • Free photo estimate first, so parts can be ordered ahead of time
  • Drop off any evening, Monday to Saturday, until 11 PM
  • Sundays by appointment when weekday hours will not work
  • Bring the keys, your claim number, and your insurance details
  • Clear personal items from the cabin and trunk before handing it over

Getting yourself home, and where to find us

We are at 8080 W 125th St in Savage, just off Highway 13, which puts us a short drive from Burnsville, Prior Lake, Shakopee, Bloomington, and Eden Prairie. If you have rental coverage we time the rental to your drop-off so nobody is standing in our lot waiting for a ride. If you do not, say so — we will build the schedule around when you can actually be without the car.

One thing worth doing before you hand over the keys: take your own photos of the vehicle as it arrives, empty the glovebox and trunk, and pull the garage remote and toll transponder. None of that is because anyone expects a problem. A car in repair moves between bays and hands, and personal items belong in your house. Check the door pockets and under the seats while you are at it — that is where things get forgotten.

Good to know

Common questions

Straight answers before you commit to anything — and a human on the phone when you want one.

Do you charge for the tow?

The tow is billed by the towing company rather than by us. If your policy includes towing or roadside coverage it is usually covered, and on a collision claim the tow is frequently paid as part of the claim. We will help you work out which applies.

Can I leave the car outside your business hours?

Call (651) 460-9996 first and we will arrange it. Our hours run late six days a week, so most people find an evening slot without needing any special arrangement at all.

How far are you from Burnsville or Prior Lake?

Both are a short drive — Savage sits between them along Highway 13, and most of the south metro reaches us in 10 to 20 minutes. The address is 8080 W 125th St, Savage MN 55378.

Photo estimates cover what a camera can see. If teardown reveals hidden damage, we document it with photos and clear it with you (and your insurance) before any extra work.
