Can a dent be fixed without repainting?
Often, yes. If the paint isn’t cracked and the metal isn’t stretched, the dent can usually be worked back to the panel’s original lines with your factory finish intact. We tell you honestly when it can’t.
Is it worth going through insurance for a small dent?
Sometimes the repair costs less than your deductible — in that case paying out of pocket is simpler. We price the job first, so you can decide before any claim is opened.
Will I be able to see where the dent was?
No — that’s the standard. When refinishing is needed, the clearcoat is blended into the surrounding panels, and the most repeated line in our reviews is “I couldn’t even tell where the damage had been.”
