Township roads leave a different mark than parking lots
Credit River damage comes from the surroundings rather than from traffic. Gravel thrown by an oncoming pickup on County Road 68 stipples a hood. A branch along a long wooded driveway drags a line down a fender. A gate post, a trailer, or a garage door frame catches a mirror or a quarter panel. Deer account for most of the rest. Left through a winter, a field of chips across a leading edge turns into a refinish job instead of a touch-up. Catching them in autumn rather than April is the cheapest single thing a Credit River owner can do.
Deeper scratches, the kind a branch leaves, usually go through the color. Those are sanded back, primed, sprayed to your paint code, and blended into the panels alongside so the boundary disappears. Send photos before you drive
A half-hour round trip to have somebody glance at a dent is not a good use of a Saturday. Three photos do the same job: one straight at the damage, one from a low angle where the light rakes across it, and one wide enough to show the whole panel. The low-angle shot is the important one, because depth is what a dent estimate actually turns on. Hold the phone low and let a window reflection run across the damage, and the shape shows itself.
